Today, service industry sales and operations strategist Lindsey Derocher joins us! She’s built a reputation of being able to craft a strategic plan and carry it out with hands-on involvement.  Colleagues praise Lindsey for her use of data and EQ in leading change and driving results through people-development. She is sharing some stories from her own people management journey with us today!   You hear her discuss how data drives decisions and confidence , and the importance of relationships as a foundation for culture and performance.

I’ve invited Lindsey to the ManagerMirror because her background includes leadership in several different disciplines. She’s held roles in Sales Management, Operations, and Marketing while building a track record of delivering results through developing her staff.  Lindsey held sales production roles with ComputerTraining.Com and VisionIT before stepping in to her first people management role with Robert Half in 2009.  Utilizing her early leadership skills, she then spent  5+ years with Kaplan, holding leadership roles in increasing scope and in both Operations and Sales.  Lindsey then applied her industry expertise in the Director of Admissions Optimization role with Learning Care Group for for 3 years. Today, she’s the Director of Sales Tools and Analytics at Proquest, and she’s joined me to share stories from her people management journey and maybe a few techniques that have earned her all the praise! Connect with Lindsey on LinkedIn to continue to learn from her engaged leadership content!
