Anthony is an Operations and Logistics leader who has built and led teams in call centers, supply-chain, customer experience, and sales.  His people-leadership experience includes a rare breadth of technical exposure and ground-up creation of roles, SOPs, and customer journey evolution.  Praised for his ability to balance employee, third-party and customer priorities, his influence in the vehicle transportation industry has consistently grown from production to leadership to strategy.  He’s leveraged his experience to build strategy to transition teams and services into profit centers, and he’s joined me to share some people-leadership lessons he’s learned along the way.  You’ll hear him discuss the concept of moderation as a people-leader, and he’ll walk us through how he stays consistent with sharing the “why” with is staff. 

I’ve invited Anthony to the ManagerMirror because his people-leadership scope has some unique breadth across operations, logistics, sales, customer experience, SaaS/Tech, and 3PL relationships. Anthony started his career in financial services and after a quick shift into retail sales operations he spent 8 years with Verizon.  In 2013, he stepped into supervisory responsibilities with Asurion, delivered results by building new mechanisms, and was quickly recognized as someone who can iterate for the company while developing internal talent.  After Asurion, Anthony moved fully into operations and logistics leadership with DriveTime before he stepped into a Director of Supply Chain Innovation role at RPM Logistics.  Over 5 years with RPM, Anthony held 3 roles and built a culture that contributed to winning awards from Inc., Entrepreneur, and Crain’s Detroit Business.  Anthony then shifted to a start-up called Driveway.com, under parent company Lithia Motors in 2021 and spent 2 years creating a captive logistics brokerage from scratch, which required developing an office culture and an operating model for vehicle shipping to service the Driveway.com orders.  His overall approach has included non-stop learning, commitment to culture and ongoing innovation.  Today, Anthony is the Vice President of Operations at Sell Your Car Now or “SYCN” Auto Logistics in Boca Raton, Florida.
